A new center of RoRec National Collection Network opened in Giurgiu

Giurgiu, November 4, 2015 –The Romanian Recycling Association RoRec, together with the Municipality of Giurgiu, inaugurated today, 4 November 2015 a new center for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) as part of RoRec National Collection Network . The entire community of Giurgiu has now access to a free and permanent service for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

The Collection center launched today is the 32nd location in the network created by RoRec in partnership with local authorities nationwide. The center in Giurgiu offers WEEE collection services both for consumers and businesses.

Giurgiu and nearby residents have the opportunity to dispose of old or defective electrical equipment by bringing them to the collection center in Gloria Street, no 7. The program is every Tuesday from 10.00 to 13.00 and every Thursday from 14.00 to 17.00.

Heavy or large appliances can be taken for free from home, organization or company office through telephone orders to RoRec Green Line 0800 444 800, free of charge number.
