On Thursday, June 7th 2012, in Resita, a new WEEE Collection Center was opened, as part of the National Collection Network, a project of RoRec Association in partnership with the local authorities aimed at building up a WEEE collection infrastructure accessible to an increasingly larger number of citizens.

 

The collection center in Căminelor Street provides both natural and legal entities with a free pick up service for large appliances, by request at the phone number 0751 302 119, available from Monday to Friday, between 09.00-17.00.

 

The inhabitants of Reșița and neighboring areas have the possibility to dispose of their old home appliances at the collection center every Monday and Friday, between 10.00- 13.00 and on Wednesday, between 14.00-17.00

Furthermore, on the occasion of the center launching, citizens are invited to take part in a collection campaign and bring their WEEE in three temporary drop-off points.

 

All participants will be enlisted in a raffle with prizes from Whirpool, one of the founding members of the Association. The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 7th, at 20.00 hours, on the stage of Tricolor Park (Victoria).
