The Recycling Patrol – New Forces for RoRec"™s Mini-Collection Event in Botosani

After they registered in the new edition of the Recycling Patrol program, the schools no 10, 11, 17 and the Technological High School in Botoșani have already started to work! The students who are agents of the Recycling Patrol help, as volunteers, in the mini-collection event organized by the Romanian Recycling Association on Saturday, October 12.

The patrols in Botoșani County have become experienced promoters of WEEE separate collection!  The School no 10 is one of the winners of the previous edition. At the mini-collection event on October 12, the Recycling Patrol agents of the three schools and the Technological High School will be at the drop-off points where they will explain to the people how important is to dispose responsibly of e-waste by sending them to recycling and they will distribute information material.

In Botoșani there are some of the most active volunteers of RoRec’s projects. ”The youngsters in Botosani have proved once again how eager they are to encourage the ecological habit of WEEE recycling in their town. We hope that their example will inspire many other patrols to capitalize on the local events organized by RoRec Association to promote the program and to draw the community’s attention on this project.” says Simona Ghiga, local representative of the Association.
