Discard of the old junk around you! Collection campaign in Brad!
Come Saturday, 26th June 2010 at the RoRec WEEE Collection Center in Brad, during 10:00 AM and 15:00 PM with any old or broken electrical appliance! The first 10 depositors who hand over large electronic waste equipment will receive new home electrical appliances!

Come to the Mountain Peony Festival in Gura Riului!

Permanent drop-off centers
As of May, the 15 RoRec drop-off centres launched in partnership with the town halls work on a permanent basis. From now on, citizens and institutions in Alexandria, Bistrita, Brad, Calarasi, Ciolpani, Focsani, Galati, Hunedoara, Resita, Sacalaz, Sinaia, Targoviste, Tulcea, Voluntari and Valenii de Munte can dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment in a civilised manner. WEEE collection campaigns across the country
All citizens of Romania have a right to be informed and to live in a cleaner environment, so we have extended the scope of our WEEE collection actions in the areas covered by our temporary drop-off centres set up in partnership with the townhalls.

Targoviste joins RoRec in their effort to promote electrical waste recycling
The Town Hall of the Municipality of Târgovişte and the RoRec Association launched on 22 April the ‘Invitation to Recycling’ campaign. Târgovişte is the association’s most recent partner in the effort to promote WEEE recycling.

Tell me what WEEE you have and I’ll tell you to whom to hand it over!
From time to time, we see on TV almost pathological cases of old stuff ‘collectors’ – people who accumulate numberless objects, turning their homes into warehouses of useless things. If this phenomenon came to be analysed by sociologists and psychologists, an entire theory would emerge on Romanians’ relationship with the waste equipment in their homes.

The „Waste doesn’t belong at home. Take it for a hike!” campaign had collected, by the end of August, 20,000 kilos of WEEE in the counties of Prahova and Hunedoara
The end of August caught the RoRec Association’s team involved simultaneously in two actions of WEEE collection in the counties of Prahova and Hunedoara.
During the last week-end of August, the RoRec Association, together with the Municipalities in Câmpina, Brebu, Băneşti, Cornu and Poiana Câmpina, have helped locals in the area dispose of their old electrical and electronic appliances, providing them, in return, with discount vouchers for new purchases.
