RoRec Projects

Romanian Association for Recycling RoRec announces the first major achievement in its national project, developed in partnership with local authorities. The National network of collection centers RoRec WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment), in partnership with municipalities, means creating a coherent infrastructure for WEEE collection, nationwide. A WEEE collection center is a service to the community, a space arranged according to European standards for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment in an organized way and in complete safety, in compliance with environmental standards.

 The WEEE Collection Centre in Tulcea offers services both to the public, as well as to companies and institutions, through an "Infoline" dispatcher available Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 18.00 and Saturdays between 9.00 and 16.00, at the phone number 0745 252 949 . Also, companies and institutions may apply to the disposal of old equipment acquisitions at the same number of Infoline. The receival of old or defective equipment is done directly at the collection center situated in Atelierelor Street, every Saturday, between 9.00 and 13.00, and for heavy or bulky equipment there is a home pick-up service, requested from the same dispatch number.

With the opening of the Center, we invite you to participate in a collection campaign. Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 you can bring old or damaged electrical equipment in these locations in the city of Tulcea, between 10 and 17:

2. Hotel Egreta Parking lot
3. Dallas area - intersection Navilistilor and Viitorului streets

For the free pick-up of large or bulky equipment from home, or from companies and organization, please call 0736 163 036, Monday 20 June until Saturday 25 June from 8 to 16.

The award ceremony for the campaign volunteers and raffle for the 20 prizes offered by Whirlpool will take place Saturday, June 25 at 19.30 on the scene in Civic Square, where we invite you to a concert by the band PASAREA COLIBIRI!
