Collection campaigns taking place November 27th
During this week-end, the RoRe Association is organizing 3 editions of the national WEEE collection campaign "The waste doesn't belong at home. Take it for a hike!"
Therefore, in Prahova county, Saturday 27th November, in Baicoi, Cocosesti, Gageni, Paulesti and Plopenitemporary collection points will be operational during 9:00 - 16:30, in the following places:
Baicoi:
Tufeni neighbourhood - Intersection of Tufenilor and Morii streets
Schela neighbourhood – local household sector
Baicoi neighbourhood - Hale plateau
Liliesti neighbourhood - civic center parking lot
Tintea neighbourhood - Center plateau – independentei no 180
Dambu neighbourhood - Intersection of Dorobanti and Dambului street
Cocosesti – in the area of the old Cultural Home
Paulesti – at the Cultural Home
Gageni – Caminul Cultural
Plopeni – next to the mechanical plant cafeteria
For more information and the home pick-up service, locals can call: 0733 601 741. The home pick-up service will include the north area of Ploiesti as well.
Every person that hands over a WEEE will have the change to participate in a raffle with 45 prizes offered by Albatros: 25 microwave ovens and 20 vacuum cleanears. The draw of the raffle will take place Monday, 29th November at 11:00 AM at Baicoi City Hall

In Caras-Severin county, the collection campaign takes place in Resita, Saturday, 27th november, between 10:00 and 14:00, in the following places:

Every person that hands over a WEEE will have a chance to participate in a raffle with 50 prizes offered by Phillips Romania: 20 DVD players, 5 Micro Hi-Fi System and 25 MP4 players
The draw of the raffle will take place Monday, 29th November 2010 at 11:00 AM at Resita CIty Hall, in the presence of local authorities and the press.

The collection points will close at 14.00.
The WEEE collection activity will take part in the same day also by home pick-up service, in the case of bulky equipment. For details about the campaign, or scheduling of home pick-up, locals can call the following numbers 0762 869 128 and 0740 122 475, starting Monday 22nd November, until Saturday 27th November, daily between 9.00-15.00.
Every person that hands over a WEEE can participate in a raffle and have a chance of winning one of the 100 prizes offered by Philips: 30 DVD Players, 25 MP3 Players, 20 portable DVDs, 15 MP4 Players and 10 digital photo frames.
The draw of the raffle will take place Monday, 29th November, at 10:00 AM, in the Council Room of Timisoara City Hall, in the presence of local authorities and the press.
