RoRec Projects

During this weekend, the RoRec Association is organizing 5 editions of the national campaign "The waste doesn't belong at home. Take them for a hike!"

So, in Hunedoara county, Friday, November 19th at 10:00 the opening of the temporary collection point in Brad (in the court yard) will take place, which will operate until 17.00 pm and will resume Saturday, November 20, between 10.00-17.00.

Saturday, November 20, between 10.00-15.00 temporary collection points will be operational in: Mesteacăn, Valea Brad, Ruda Brad (in front of the Cultural Home), Tărăţel (in the school yard), Băiţa (at the Market) Ormindea, Fizeş (at the Cooperaţie store),Harţăgan, Veţel, Mintia, Leşnic, Soimuş, Păuliş, Fornădia (in front of the Cultural Home).

WEEE collection activity will take place in the two days also by home collection service, for bulky equipment. For details about the campaign or home pick-up transportation planning, citizens are invited to call 0732 627 179, starting with Tuesday 16 November to Saturday 20 November daily between 9.00-15.00.

All persons who will hand over a WEEE will be able to participate in a raffle with prizes and have a chance to win one of 35 prizes at stake: 5 DHS bicycles and 30 Albatros home appliances.

The draw of the raffle winners will take place Monday, November 22, 2010, 11.00 am at the Brad City Hall (Republicii street no. 18) in the presence of local authorities and the media.

In Calarasi county, Saturday 20 November at 9.00, temporary collection points will be opened as follows:

The city of Calarasi - Orizont Square
In the village Grădiştea - in front of the City Hall
In the village Ciocanesti - in front of the City Hall
In the village Dorobantu - in front of the City Hall
In the village Monastery - in front of the City Hall.

The five temporary collection points will be operational Saturday, November 20th, between 9:00 and 16:00.
For details about the campaign or home transportation planning, citizens are invited to call 0723 701 491, from Tuesday 16 November to Friday 19 November between 9.00 - 18.00 and Saturday from 9:00 - 15:00.

The draw of the raffle winners will take place Saturday, November 20th, 2010, at 19:00 in the Meeting Room of Calarasi City Hall, in the presence of local authorities and the media.

In Brasov county, Sercaia joins as a partner in the RoRec National Network of Collection Centers for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The Sercaia Collection Center is the first permanent center in Brasov county. Thus, at the launch of the partnership, the Romanian Association for Recycling RoRec, together with the Sercaia City Hall is organizing a collection campaign of WEEE on 20th November.

Saturday November 20th, Brasov county, at 9:00, temporary collection points will be operational as follows:
• The village Sercaia - in front of the City Hall;
• The village Parau - in front of the City Hall;
• The village Comana - in front of the City Hall;
• The village Sinca Veche - in front of the City Hall;
• The village Sinca Noua - in front of the City Hall;
• In the village Mandra - in front of the City Hall.

In these collection points, between 9:00 and 15:00, all residents in the area are expected to hand over old or broken electronic appliances.

For details about the campaign or home transportation planning, citizens are invited to call 0742 490 840, starting Tuesday, November 16, until Friday, November 19 daily from 9.00-18.00 pm, and Saturday, November 20th from 9:00 - 14.00.

All depositors will participate in a raffle and will have a chance to win one of 35 prizes: 10 Albatros TVs and 25 Black & Decker power tools.

The draw of the raffle winners will take place on Saturday, November 20th, 2010, at 19:00 in the the Cultural Home of the Sercaia City Hall, during the Veta Biris and Prolog concerts, in the presence of local authorities and the press.

In Iasi County, Saturday 20th November at 09.00, temporary collection points will be opened in: Holboca (behind the House of Culture and in the school yard), Orzeni (at the school), Cristeşti (in the school yard), Rusenii Vechi ( at the school), Rusenii Noi (at the school), Valea Lunga (at the school) and Dancu (in the Dancu parking).
They will close at 16.00, except the two in Holboca will close at 18.00.

The WEEE collection activity will take place the same day also by home pick-up service, for bulky equipment. For details about the campaign or home transportation planning, citizens are invited to call 0762 869 128, starting Wednesday 17th November to Saturday 20 November daily between 9.00-15.00.

The draw of the raffle winners will take place Saturday, November 20th, 2010, at 18:30 at the Holboca City Hall, in the presence of local authorities and the media.

- Saftica – At the School with I-IV classes
- Balotesti – In the yard of the School with I-VIII classes
- Dumbraveni – At the School with I-IV classes
- Ghermanesti – At the House of Culture
- Snagov - Old Snagov school
- Tancabesti – Cultural House
