Collection campaigns taking place between 18th and 24th October
In this weekend the RoRec Association organizes two editions of the national campaign "The waste doesn't belong at home. Take it for a hike!"
So, in Hunedoara county, Friday, October 22, between 9:00 - 17:00, there will be operational two temporary collection points:
- In Calan, in the parking lot next to the House of Culture
- In Hateg before the House of Culture
Saturday, October 23, in addition to those above, between the hours of 8.00-15.00 temporary collection points in front of the Cultural House will be operational in the following villages: Batiz, Calanu Mic, Sincrai, Sintamaria de Piatra, Valea Sangeorgiului, Grid, Ohaba-Strei, Streisangeorgiu, Strei-Sacel, Nadastia de Sus, Nadastia de Jos, Naliti vad, Silvasu de Sus si Silvasu de Jos, Băcia, Tîmpa, Totia Mare (and Totia Mică - in common) and in Petreni, at the company store Waldemar.
In Bretea Română village collection points will be in Bretea Română, in the center and Bretea Streiului, Gantaga Cobragiu, Batalar, Poplars, Russia, Maceu, Ocolisu Great Valcele Relay, Valcelele Best in front of the House of Culture.
The WEEE collection activity will take place in two days also by the home transport service, for bulky equipment. For details about the campaign or transport scheduling, citizens are invited to call 0732 627 179, starting Tuesday, October 19th until Saturday, October 23, daily between 9.00-15.00.
All depositors will participate in the raffle with prizes and have a chance to win one of the 50 prizes at stake: 5 DHS bikes and 45 power tools OBI.
The draw of the raffle will take place Monday, October 25, 2010, 11.00 am at the Calan City Hall (str Station No. 1) in the presence of local authorities and the media.

In Calarasi county, Saturday October 23rd, between 9:00 - 17:00 collection points will be operational in the following locations:
- The city of Calarasi - the Prefecturii Square
- In the village Modelu - at the General School no. 1 and the village of Tonea - at the General School
- In the village Unirea - in front of the City Hall and the village of Oltina - in front of the Cultural House
- In the village Roset - at the General School
- In Jegalia village - in front of the City Hall and the village of Iezeru - in front of the Post - and the village Galda - in front of the Cultural House
- In the village Borcea - in front of the City Hall - with Pietroiu neighborhoof - in front of the Cultural House.
For details about the campaign or home transportation planning, citizens are invited to call 0742 490 840, starting Tuesday October 19th until Saturday, October 23rd daily from 9:00-16:00 am.
All depositors will participate in the raffle with prizes and have a chance to win one of 35 prizes: 10 angle grinders and 25 electrical drills from OBI Romania.
The draw of the raffle will take place Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 18:00 at the RoRec tent located in the Prefecturii Square, Calarasi, in the presence of local authorities and the media.
