Collection campaigns on the 10th of December
This Saturday you can take part in 3 WEEE collection campaigns taking place in the following counties:
Bihor county:
Saturday, December 10, 2011, between 10.00 - 16.00 PM, RoRec Association provides residents of Alesd and Tileagd with multiple WEEE collection points, where we await all those who wish to deposit old or used electrical and electronic equipment:
Alesd:
1. SC Salubri SA
2. The marketplace
3. Tinaud - Kindergarten
4. Pestis - I-IV Primary School
5. Padurea Nearga - Plateau in front of the complex
Tileagd
6. Tileagd - Cultural Centre
7. Tileagd - Primary School-IV (near station)
8. Tilecus - Cultural Centre
9. Uileacu de Cris - Cultural Centre
If case of heavy or bulky equipment, the WEEE collection activity will be conducted by free of charge home pick-up service. For details about the campaign or to schedule a free transport from home, citizens are invited to call the number 0737.309.151, available until Saturday, December 10th, between 08.00-15.00.
For participants from each of the two cities a raffle will be organized for each, in which all participants will be enrolled. They may win one of the household appliances offered by Philips, the RoRec Association's partner in these actions.
Thus, depositors of Alesd can win two vacuum cleaners, five mixers or ten coffee machines. The extraction of winning tickets will take place in Alesd on 10 December at 18:30, at City Hall.
Citizens of Tileagd can win 5 mixers or 10 coffee machines. The draw will take place at the Cultural Centre on Saturday, 10th December at 17.30.
Brasov county:
Between 11.00-16.00 PM, the people of Brasov city are expected to get rid of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), whilst, at the same time, respecting the environment and the community in which they live. Those wishing to participate in the collection campaign organized by the RoRec Association are expected at the following collection points, where the WEEE can be handed over:
1. Astra – Bulevardul Saturn nr. 32 - Galeriile Orizont
2. Bartolomeu – Strada Gh. Doja, la intersecția cu Strada Inului
3. Centrul Civic – Parcul Centrul Civic, lângă locul de joacă
4. Centrul Vechi – Strada Avram Iancu, la intersecția cu Strada Bisericii Romane
5. Centrul Vechi – Strada N. Balcescu nr. 62, lângă magazinul Star
6. Craiter – Strada Hărmanului nr. 110, la intersecția cu Strada Pavilioanele CFR
7. Florilor – Bulevardul Alexandru Vlahuța nr. 10, la ITC
8. Griviței nr. 47, la intersecția cu Strada Emil Racoviță, lângă locul de joacă
9. Metrom – Strada Zorilor nr. 4, lângă magazinul Billa
10. Noua – Dârste – Strada Prunului nr. 9, la intersecția cu Strada Levanțicăi
11. Prund – Schei - Piața Unirii, in stația RAT
12. Răcădău – Strada Tâmpei nr. 6, la intersecția cu Strada Valea Cetații
13. Tractorul – Strada Olteț nr. 12, lângă piață
14. Stupini – Strada Bârsei, lângă biserică
Through the free home pick-up service, residents can dispose of heavy or bulky waste electrical and electronic equipment. For more details on how you can schedule a free shipping, the numbers available are 0268.327.041 and 0742.490.840, during 5-9 December, 10.00-17.00 and on the collection day, 10th December, between 10.00 - 15.00.
All depositors of WEEE will participate in a raffle and could win one of 5 Hotpoint refrigerators and 25 next-generation Philips DVD players. The draw and award ceremony for the campaign volunteers will take place on the festival stage "Brasov - City of Story" located in the Square, on 10th December at 18.30.
Hunedoara County:
Between 10.00 - 16.00 PM, the inhabitants of the following communities, but also the surrounding ones, are expected to participate in WEEE collection campaign, initiated by the RoRec Association. All you have to do is bring in an old or damaged electrical and electronic equipment at the collection points listed below:
1. Baita - in the market
2. Ormindea - Cooperatie store
3. Fizes - Cooperatie store
4. Hartagan - Cultural Centre
Soimus:
5. Soimus - Cultural Centre
6. Paulis - Cultural Centre
7. Fornadia - Cultural Centre
Vetel:
8. Vetel - Cultural Centre
9. Mintia - Cultural Centre
10. Lesnic - Cultural Centre
Those who wish to entrust large or bulky waste to the collection centres, the RoRec Association offers the prospect of free pick-up from home. To schedule a free transportation, those interested are offered the phone number 0732.627.179, operating between 08.00 - 16.00, Monday to Saturday, 10th December.
All the participants will be enrolled in a raffle, in which they can win prizes offered by our partner, Skil.
Citizens of Baita can win 5 drilling machines and 4 vertical saws. The draw will take place Saturday, 10th December, at 18.30, in the city of Baita.
In Soimus, 4 vertical saws and 5 drilling machines are at stake in the raffle and the winners will be selected Saturday, December 10th, at 17.30, in the city of Soimus.
In Veţel, Skil awards the most industrious and fortunate of participants with 5 drilling machines and 3 vertical saws. The raffle will take place at the village hall on Saturday, 10th December at 17.30.
