The new RoRec waste management web portal
The Romanian Recycling Association chose Matricia Solutions to implement the solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and a web portal for waste management based on MVC technology, a system designed from zero, with the client, as the first implemented waste management system, available on the market.
The challenge for Matricia Solutions was represented by the fact that RoRec needed to properly manage and control information from various sources (retailers - aprox 1.100 retail shops, shipment and transport companies, collection centers, recycling centers), on different support systems (paper, electronic) received through different means (fax, e-mail), which aggravated the process of centralization and amalgamation.
"The waste management web portal is dedicated to third parties, so that all the collection points, retail shops and recycling points can now access it, input the necessary informations and transfer them to the AX 2009 system very easily and in a consistent manner", said Virginia Petrea, Project Manager. "WIth Matricia, using Microsoft Dynamics AX and the web portal with MVC technology, we have implemented the first WEEE management system on the market".
