This year, for the first time since the ‘Infomediu Europa’ Prizes Gala was launched, a special section was created: ‘The Green Offensive Continues!’ The organiser of the Gala, the Reporter press group, together with the strategic partner in the campaign, the RoRec Association, honoured all those involved in this project. Our objective, as strategic partner, was to launch the RoRec WEEE Collection Centres Network. So we used this opportunity to thank all those who had said YES to our project and offered us their support throughout 2009, for all the activities related to launching the Collection Centres in Alexandria, Focsani, Galati, Resita, Tulcea, Voluntari and Vălenii de Munte: town halls, the National Environmental Protection Agency, sponsors, local organisers, the press.
We would particularly like to thank the members of the association, whose direct involvement in these events was key to their success: Arctic, Candy, Gorenje, Indesit, Philips and Whirlpool, who very generously offered prizes for the raffles organised for the citizens participating at WEEE collecting activities.
