Over 10 tons of WEEE, collected from the citizens of district 6 during the first two weeks!
The waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) collection campaign that the City Hall of district 6, the RoRec Association and its partner Hotpoint initiated at the beginning of October continues this weekend!
During the first two weekends of the campaign, the citizens of district 6 brought over 10 tons of WEEE for recycling and 400 of them singed up for the first two raffles with prizes offered by Hotpoint.
Approximately 7 tons of WEEE were collected at the three fixed and mobile collection points from the areas of Militari, Cotroceni and Politehnica during the event which took place on October 8th. Here, you can find the winners and see pictures from last week’s event.
As a follow-up to the campaign, on Saturday October 15th and October 22nd, citizens can bring the waste at the fixed collection points that will operate in the active collection area, while the mobile teams will make FREE pick-ups for heavy or large appliances at their homes, based on requests placed by phone to the call center. On Saturday, October 15th, you can find us at the following points: Calea Giulesti – Grant Bridge, Crangasi Park – entrance from Crangasi subway stop and Giulesti Square. The raffle with prizes for the third campaign week – where Hotpoint will offer another four bicycles and 10 surprise gifts, will take place at the City Hall of district 6 on Saturday, October 15th, at 07:00 p.m..
