Our ‘Invitation to Recycling’ Programme has a prestigious ambassador. Analia Selis has joined the town hall partnerships campaign dedicated to setting up RoRec Drop-off Centres, because she strongly believes that awareness-raising activities are needed in order to change old mentalities.

As she has recently become a Romanian citizen – having passed the citizenship exam – Analia Selis has now an additional reason to support this campaign.

‘Here in Romania, I happen to meet people who do something special and good. These are people I like working with, projects I like to become involved in. The RoRec Association runs activities in support of Romania’s sustainable development. The ‘Invitation to Recycling’ campaign is a necessary programme for a society which is becoming aware of the meaning of clean air, a healthier life, or the fight against global warming. We need here strong campaigns and awareness-raising activities in order to change the approach of those people who do not understand what “recycling” really means,’ said Analia Selis.

RoRec and Analia Selis worked together for the first time in Hunedoara, where the Earth Hour was an important moment of the programme. ‘A beautiful campaign, with beautiful people, this was my first experience in working with RoRec and the Hunedoara town hall on 27 March 2010. I was happy to be the one to announce the start of the Earth Hour and to feel I was really fighting for a cleaner life’, the artist said.

Nowadays, more and more stars get involved in campaigns promoting a cleaner life, in order to offer an example and to raise the alarm on global warming and unbalances that we cause in nature. And we have more surprises in store for you!
