Always on the move. Marathon for life!
RoRec, the Romanian Association for Recycling, has been directly involved in the Bucharest City Marathon on October 17th. Several thousand amateur athletes have attended this event, while their supporters have remained by their side throughout the day.
The RoRec Association has been directly represented, in this marathon, by our colleague Iuliana Niculescu, running with no. 10 t-shirt. „I chose to run in the colors of the association I represent, so as to send a message to the thousands of participants, of youngsters and children that have run the marathon. We aimed, with the motto „Waste doesn’t belong at home. Support a healthy life in a clean environment. Recycle!”, to let every single participant know that exercise is essential for a healthy life.
But is also important to be aware that we need to collect and recycle selectively, so as to allow everybody to breathe a cleaner, fresher air.”, our colleague said.
