We’d like to welcome our new members, Com Electro Construct and Power Electric, to the RoRec community. The two companies have joined our association in the last month. SC Com Electro Construct has been established in 1997, having as a main scope of activity the sale of electrical appliances and low, medium and high voltage equipments. For many of us, getting rid responsively of waste electrical and electronic equipment can be a problem in the absence of a space dedicated to selective collection. This is why the Romanian Association for Recycling RoRec continues to extend the WEEE Drop-off Centres Network all over Romania, coming up with initiatives which allow for continuous WEEE collection. At the end of March, the partnership between RoRec and the Hunedoara Town Hall setting up WEEE Drop-off Centre no. 13 was launched. The people from the neighbouring town, Deva, got involved as well, so we managed to gather almost 6.5 metric tons of WEEE, meaning over 608 appliances handed over by 367 people.
